The Thrills of my everyday life!

Ok, so I know I said I was gonna tell a bit about myself the next time I wrote, but there were too many thrilling events from this day that I just had to share. To begin, I got to go learn about and practice equine restraint and procedures for general care and veterinary purposes at a property in Springville. (that's horsemanship for those of you that don't know what equine means.) We got to work with a local veterinarian that owns the horses and used to work in a large animal veterinary practice. We got to clean and test the health of their hooves and feet, give vaccinations, and draw blood from their jugular vein. By the way, their jugular vein is so freakin' cool! It is probably 1/4" wide and goes along a groove in their neck. You can put pressure on the lower end of it and you can see it fill up along the neck, then you can see it pulse and widen. Plus, the blood that comes out of it is pretty much purple. Pretty cool! Wish my blood could be green. (that's my favorite color, by the way.)
After my class, I went to Walmart to grab a couple things and "that's when it seemed like all hell broke loose"! First, when I was roaming around for the things I needed I witnessed an altercation that nearly had me rolling on the floor. It was between an older lady and a 20-something year old guy. The guy was clean cut and trying to be respectful, but was obviously getting frustrated with the crazy lady. The lady and her friend were grungy looking, like those people you know just don't take care of themselves. She was yelling something about him bumping into her and declaring that she didn't hit him. She was so upset and demanded that the police be called. There were at least 3 empoloyees trying to calm her down, one of which finally got her to continue shopping and they would resolve it when they were done. It was crazy! I was sure she was gonna reach across the store and knock him to his feet. Absolutely ridiculous! On top of that, when I was going to pick up my bags after paying for my groceries, I totally dropped my gallon of milk and it exploded across the floor, spreading the width of two check-out stands. I felt so bad, and boy did I feel stupid. Good news tho, they got me a new gallon and wouldn't let me pay for it. Wow! The excitement you can find at your local WalMart!
To end this thrilling day, my cousin and I went to the Graduate Celebration on BYU campus and got to watch very attractive polynesian and latino boys do their native dances. Can we say Yummy?!?
Unfortunately, tomorrow will not be as stimulating as today has been. Will be spending my life in the library tomorrow writing 3 papers and studying for my finals, which begin on Monday. It will definitely be a miracle if I get through the next two weeks without failing, thus ensuring my college graduation. About freakin' time, eh?!? Only took me 4 1/2 years. :)
